Ok - dream plans started. Can you tell me where / what type of rugs you're using? I have a similar setup and I'm looking for something comfy on the knees, but still won't die when I splash some brake fluid.

Scotty - I would love to give that a try. What is the best way to get in contact? In addition - I am taking a load of pictures to put up. The Legacy product is fantastic and looks amazing, it's really just my stupidity that caused the scratch.

I left the decision up to a professional contractor. I'm not 100% sure on the pros / cons of epoxy and urethane. [and up to a point, I sort of don't want to know them now, because the job is done. ]

If given the choice then, I guess I have to live with them. The floor 'coat' is 1600 sq ft. and not something I am thinking about adding another coat to. [It was 3 buckets / coat] Maybe the entranceway will get a larger than expected rug... Is it worth trying a really high grit polishing...
