    Wiring a pole barn shop.

I ran all my power for receptacles and the feed for the switches in the slab. This was quicker and easier for me rather than having to climb ladders or onto a lift and running it overhead.

Was finally able to get power run to the barn. Ended up running a 100A feed off the panel in the house. Also ran 1" for future internet/cable. Got the gutters installed and trenched in downspouts and floor drains.

No sonotubes, it's a concrete permacolumn with laminated 2x6's attached. They did not have the bottom row of boards on yet which will be closer to the ground and used also as the concrete floor forms. I ran a cord for power for them and they used it to charge batteries and for their air...

Plan to rough in the slab for electric and plumbing first. Which will then be followed by concrete. Plan to insulate the walls and hang metal as well as I find time. Still undecided on what to use for heat.

Starting this thread to keep track of my new build. It will be 36x40x16 with 2- 12x14 doors. Here it is after day 1. Hired an amish crew out of indiana. It's amazing what a 3 man crew can accomplish in a day.
