I have a weatherproof outlet cover screwed direct to the outside of my garage, I used a hole saw and drilled a hole through the sheathing in the center the outlet cover. When I need air outside with the door closed, I fish the airline through the hole and out the outlet cover works perfect for me.

Swapped the castor's on the front of my engine hoist from fixed to swivel style. Why this thing had fixed wheels on the front I will never know. Made a huge improvement on mobility and small adjustments when using.

Sorry to bump a old thread, got a line on one of these really cheap. Are these still good units for modern batteries? Looking for a battery tester and I prefer old reliable over new cheap junk.

Some way overdue maintenance on the air compressor. Changed the oil, it had royal purple synthetic in it, and it came out black, changed to an ND 30 weight synthetic that is clear. Changed the incoming filter and adjusted the belts. all good for another 5 years now.

If it were me I would do 1x3 strapping every 16" and do 1/2" drywall. I have read you can get away with 5/8 drywall on 24" centers but seems risky to me.

Why does it need to be round? Make a square box out of ply wood or better yet aluminum sheet you will have a lot of surface are to attach it and do almost any type of clean out door you want, way more options then using a round barrel.

I have a 36" RCA tube set I still use as the main TV in the house, I can not justify buying flat screen until this one quits working. The only bad thing is it weighs about 4x as much as a flat screen set, but is does not get moved much so it all I need right now.

Going out on a limb here but it looks like a old card catalog form a library.

You are in South Dakota how did you get away with out poring below frost line? That is my biggest issue right now my footer is 36" deep and I am setting up four courses of 10" block then poring my floor over that.

Ok if no one is home would it not be cost effective to shut off the water and the boiler and drain all the lines? It would be cold for a few hours after you return to get the boiler running again, maybe I missed something but I always turn off the water main and shut off most of the power before...
