sry i have nothing to really add. except i was oddly surprised when i scrolled through to find a picture of a local garage. The one in Woodstock Ontario is still empty but has a picnic area and one of those mobile fajitas trailers parked in the lot with permant barriers around it.

chalkboard paint comes in many colours, including white so darkness wouldn't be an issue

if he runs the rafters parallel to the side sloped plates which i assume he is doing this won't be a problem

I can't see why you couldn't with a little engineering raise the roof in a certain spot to accommodate the lift you desire, almost like a metal knee wall to raise the roof in that area

ye, as long as you had something along the lines of you arn't responsible for damages or injuries incurred from lift failure, incorrect use of lift ect.

for a start please type like an adult, it is much easier to read then constant ...... ontopic: maybe have two types of units with/without lifts and have a common area with kitchenette. This would be more work but maybe make a condo type operation where you can sell some units to owners but...

wire cup on a grinder or drill would work but would take a while. I would put por 15 on it after cleaning

since it's only storage why not run chases like raised 2x2 3 sided would box or something to cover and protect the wires and them just plywood on both sides of the chase
