    KNIPEX Ear Clamp Pliers $13.99

I ordered my pliers right when the deal came out but was notified that there was a delay. I just checked and they canceled the order. I don’t mind though, because I just found the side crimp version on Amazon for $20

FYI Recon HF 60gallon Dual Stage Com $160+ Freight

Wierd. I got a call this morning to verify my address and also let me know the compressor is on back-order. I found it strange that they needed to verify my address. I've always gone out of my way to stay off of mailing lists. Who knows what's going on.

Craftsman 48 piece SAE/Metric Thread Restorer Set

I picked it up at the Lloyd Center Sears. I believe there was one more set left. FYI, the Happy Valley location didn't have anything. No tap sets, etc.

Craftsman 48 piece SAE/Metric Thread Restorer Set

I just picked up the 40 piece version today in Portland. It was on sale for $29.00 even though the price tag said $49. There was still one set left next to the taps. It's all made in the USA and looks exactly like my co-workers Matco set...

    Saving a few coins etc

Good idea with the repurposing! I've found that almost any oil is better than nothing when drilling ferrous metals (WD40, penetrating oil, whatever). Some oils might be a little messier than others. YMMV.

    Water in garage sub-panel

First off, I'd like to thank everybody for their input. Kevin, I looked at your diagrams and my subpanel fits in the "B" category. I did drywall and insulate after the panel installation. I made a piece of drywall removable above the panel for future wiring if needed. I'll have to remove it and...

    Water in garage sub-panel

I've attached some pictures of my garage sub-panel (on the left) and the meter going to my house (on the right). It hasn't rained since the electrician came out to look at the problem. He repositioned the weather head and re-sealed the same gaskets that I sealed. He seems real good about...

    Water in garage sub-panel

Hi guys, I should have been more clear. The sub-panel is INSIDE my garage and the meter is about 20 feet away, attached to my house. Water is still traveling down the riser pipe. I'm not sure how. The garage is not heated. I took a few people's advice and the electrician is coming out to look...

    Water in garage sub-panel

Yes, the wires do go up in a big loop before entering the conduit. I'll call my electrician after Christmas. Thanks for the advice!

    Water in garage sub-panel

Hi folks, I've recently noticed a problem with water inside my garage sub-panel. When I say there's water in there, I mean there's a puddle at the bottom of the panel and each breaker has water dripping off of it. This sub-panel is about 4 months old and it was professionally installed with...

I don't like free advertising so I don't display companies stickers. I just keep them in a shoebox to give out to friends.
