I have that heater in my 30x36x9’(tall) shop. Garage is insulated but isn’t super tight. This heater will get to 65 in the dead of winter within an hour or so. I’d like to light it up with 3-4 led shop lights. We’re at the track in the dark maybe 2-3 hours. I’m liking the deep cycle batteries because of the options to run auxiliary lighting outside the trailer in the pits.

I appreciate the feedback. I thought about the deep cycle battery route. I guess I’ll have to figure out how to charge it from the truck. It’s about a 40 minute tow to the track. Plus I suppose I could trickle charge it from next to the shop when it’s home.

So I’m looking to add some LED lights to the inside of my hauler. Currently it is not wired to 110 or set up for a generator. Also I have no real desire to set it up for a generator due to the extra hassle at the track. I’m wondering if anyone has ever set up LED light fixtures and run them off...

I’m only looking for it to be an inch or so taller than existing floor. It shouldn’t be in the way of anything.

I’m looking to build a make shift level pad for setting up and building race cars or muscle cars. My existing floor is in fine shape. Plenty thick. But nowhere near level and I’d rather not build a chassis jig to take up all the space. Wondering what would be a suitable not too expensive...

I have the same adapter, bought from a supply house. Problem is the vent off the back of the heater is only 1” long and it needs to go into that adapter by 2” to make a good seal... Does anyone know on this forum?

Ended up repointing and parging the roughest part. Also got a pad poured for my propane tanks. Pretty pleased with how it came out.
