Hi all. I know you’re supposed to grind away the sealer on a garage floor before painting, but has anyone just painted over the sealer? I would rather just touch up the paint once in a while rather than grinding.

Just bought a new to me home. I want to paint my garage floor, but, unfortunately it’s sealed. Thinking about using a single part epoxy such as Dry Loc, and just painting over the sealer. Single part epoxy is cheap and if there are areas of the floor where the paint eventually peels off, just...
