Just bought a new to me home. I want to paint my garage floor, but, unfortunately it’s sealed. Thinking about using a single part epoxy such as Dry Loc, and just painting over the sealer. Single part epoxy is cheap and if there are areas of the floor where the paint eventually peels off, just touch up. Has anyone ever tried this approach? Grinding, etc. is time consuming, expensive and messy.

You can't apply DryLoc if there is a sealer on the floor. It needs to be removed first. The sealer effectively blocks paint from penetrating in order to achieve proper adhesion.
