Re: It's official. New name - The Compound I would do concrete in there but that will probably be close to twice the price of asphalt. Concrete would be the cooler, more durable way to go. Especially in that heat (little guy walking barefoot in the summer), but asphalt can be a pretty durable...

Which Sam's club did you find that cabinet and work bench from? I live in Huntley so go to Crystal Lake but have never seen those there.

I have the rubber mat in my garage and have welded, cut, burned, changed oil, pulled motors, and transmissions on it with no prob lems. Not saying that it is not fire proof, but I have YET to start it on fire.
