Thought that I would post some pics of our club garage. There are 12 working and car storage stalls. Modest machine shop and a large meeting room. Sorry for the pic quality, good camera, poor photographer.
First set is the stall area.

Please let us know how the club is formed and how ownership of the building/equipment is organized. I'd like to do something similar with a 10,000 s/f building here, but not sure how to pull it off.

That's cool. Do you guys have community tools and equipment or people bring in stuff to use?

The club owns the machinery and is only used by the members. Each member have their own hand tools.

I'm not sure of what you're asking, but the club was formed in 1956 and has been continutally active since. Weekly dues are paid and stalls are rented by the square foot.

Nows thats cool how many members are in the club

Right now we have 26 members, one being a charter member and one of the original organizers with 54 years seniority!

Good eye, Kev. The club was featured in the August 1962 issue of Hot Rod.

We do have a couple albums with pics going back to the 50's. On our web site under the photo gallery there is an album of vintage club drag racing pics.
