Well after checking out the cost, I just went ahead and hardwired it, ran it through conduit. If I would have used a plug, I would have had to buy a new outlet and plug so cheaper to hardwire it. It does work GREAT, but wasn't as cold out today so time will tell. Thanks for the replies!

Got it hung, now need to get everything I need to get it running, thought I had enough extras in the garage but it doesn't look like it. I see it recommends hard-wiring, is this necessary or can I run it with a plug with no problems? Advice please. Either way its about a 20 ft run.

Bought mine today and hopefully get it hung Sunday!
