My favorite German tool is this older Gedore torque wrench that I restored. I hard anodized the aluminum to make it look brand new and still be durable. I'm planning on it lasting over another 40 years!

Here's my set of Hazet 635 DBE wrenches from West Germany. I acquired them not too long ago, but they quickly became my "go to" set. Unfortunately I'm missing the 14-15 wrench and can't find anywhere to get one...

I would leave it how it is. I'm not very familiar with SK tools, but I know Hazet sells a ratchet with a bend in it like that. I assume it is for knuckle or finger clearance, pretty smart in my opinion.

Sorry for your loss, I'm sure your son will appreciate the tools one day.
The micrometers look pretty old, any idea what brand they are?

I completely agree, and this would be quicker is most cases too I think. Definetly going in the top of my tool box!

Picked up this dimension converter the other day. Easily switch between standard to metric, or metric to standard with the turn of a dial. Anyone ever seen one or have any information on it?

My Snap On boxes are from the 70s and have the code either on the back right corner, or front right. They are stamped in pretty shallow usually and are hard to read. Here's what mine looks like. The "79" after USA is the date of manufacture.
