I want to hear the story behind those! Are they yours or someone you know? What else is in them?
Brian
They are generally filled with old mechanic tools.

the pictures are way too big.
Wow I'm jealous! Have you looked for a date code to see how old they are?

Where are the date codes?

Date codes on boxes started in the mid 50s
the pictures are way too big.
Those are freaking awesome! I believe they need to stay as is, they're beautiful the way they sit.
Yep. The only thing you might find is "Made in the USA" stamped on the right rear corner of the k60. I can't remember where on the k200.
I believe if memory serves me the k60 was a box made from 1939-1947.
So, How old do they have to be before they are Vintage?
Snap-on supposedly contacted the previous owner about them for their headquarters, but would only offer new tools for them.
I've heard that story more than once, I kind of wonder if it's an urban legend.
Kind of like selling a car that was only driven by a little old lady to church on Sundays.![]()
