Need opinions on a 2-post asymmetrical overhead lift. I have a 3K budget. The biggest/heaviest thing I’ll ever lift would be a ‘17 Ram 1500 (6K tops). My shop is just for son and my use. If I can away with spending just 2K, that’s cool too!

Conventional drop-in tiles would have to be wired in tight or else the wind would blow them out of the grid. That is if you have a garage door(s).

The guys down here use 6" batt insulation and either chicken wire or plastic to cover the batts. However we use the metal trusses spaced @ 12'.
