what 20-100 said. sell the duplicates (the ones you already had) and keep the ones pops gave ya. they might "appear" to be the same wrenches, but the ones from dad are better!
l work as a maintenance man in a 90 year old hotel. we have bins of tools (the manager of our crew is a sloppy mess) and l showed my wife the socket bin. all of the American made ones were beat, but beautiful. all of the ones with rust were hecho in Phillipines, Tawain, China, Japan, etc...

this is exactly what I'm planning for my garage build. i have a short driveway on both sides of my front yard, and a drive-thru garage would be perfect.
i just built a 6 foot workbench. i bought used 4x4s, 2x4s & plywood from a salvage yard. looks like it's been there for 50 years, is sturdy as all get-out, and cost $30. build it yourself...you will love it so much more than store-bought!
