Stanley/DeWalt new manufacturing facility in Texas...

The Plant creates jobs. The plant pays property taxes to the local and state government. The employees also pay taxes. The employees will live and spend their wages in the local community. This will help provide jobs for other Americans. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

The whole Craftsman/Lowe's thing...A real opportunity

Do we really know what Stanley is going to sell at Lowes? It would not be surprised to see rakes and shovels over hand tools. The reports I have read only indicate 'craftsman products'. For the record, I also think the average person does not care about COO and half the people who do want a...

Craftsman warranty replacements for discontinued items

A good hardware stool is hard to find. I for the most part have written Sears off. Sears has a huge store about 3 miles from my house, but the tool section has about 30% of the inventory it had 15 years ago. I would frequently exchange screw drivers, but even that is not worth my time...

Craftsman warranty replacements for discontinued items

I took a snow shovel I bought 20 years ago up to Sears to get replaced. They no longer made that shovel, in fact the Sears (huge store) did not have any Craftsman snow shovels. The clerk was nice, but essentially said it ***** to be you. Now in all honesty I couldn't get to upset, the shovel...

Older USA Made Stanley Locking Pliers

They look like old craftsman locking pliers I have. They are OK, but not as nice as my old USA vice grips. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

    Where Will Crafstman Tools Land?

Who the hell would want craftsman? You would be on the hook for that lifetime warranty, millions of tools out in the wild you would be responsible for. You could still use the name, but not sell hand tools. I could see you selling power tools and boxes, lawnmowers and such but not hand...

    Never again Sears

Sears is on life support and will be dead soon. They are slowly killing any value attached to their brand names. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

    Home Depot Clearance Thread 2016

This thread is a very interesting read. I think it is great that you guys can buy stuff for a penny. The thing I find funny is the anger when the sale falls through. The threats of Home Depot losing "good" costumers. The Home Depot needs a small band of dedicated deal seekers buying...

    "Sears Craftsman Tools: What Happened?"

The old craftsman is gone and never coming back. If you think a company is going to take over the craftsman name, make tools in the USA and warranty the millions of tools out in the public with those American made tools, not going to happen. That business model will never work again. Sent from...

    Lowe's Clearance Thread 2015

I am sorry but this is the way of the world. Do you think the family of the staff at the doctors office waits for hours in the lobby. How about the drunk brother of a cop in the city the cop works, think he is going to jail. Life is full of these events, some times you are on the wrong side of...

    Wilde Tools at Menards

Wilde makes stuff for tekton also. It is nice to see them continue to make tools after sears moved away from them and to China. Seems kind of funny that one company moved away from USA made tools and their competitors have moved production to the US with the same oem manufacturer.
