I have a tandem garage too. When we added on a couple years back, I had to go deep due to clearance issues on my lot. Our house is a bi-level set in a hill. I had nowhere else to go but out the front. About half is in ground. No attic in mine, due to master suite above. (No lift for me dammit)...

I made this one a while back after seeing sombody elses in a similar thread. It's mounted on a small door that goes to a storage area under my front porch. (my garage is under the house-bi/level) Conduit clamps on mine too. Gotta make one of those grease gun holders!
