I'm curious what new tools they are talking about releasing as that arena seems a bit crowded so anything new to the market needs to be innovative, high quality, and/or worth more than their cost.

Cut this old rusty (went through rust remover obviously) C clamp for a custom welding hold down. Kind of felt bad cutting it as it was just rusty, not damaged in any way, but a forged body is necessary due to tig welding. I look at it like I'm giving it a new life. Plays into my enjoyment of...
As long as the current wood doesn't touch water you're good. Hopefully they have some kind of plan. The job isn't "right" but significantly cheaper it seems.
The current dig up might prevent some hydrostatic pressure under the slab, but not a whole lot from the walls i'd say.
Just tossing it out there, but maybe let's focus less on the SWAG giveaways and more on the AMERICAN made tools. That's what this whole thing is about or at least what it was originally about.

Started with a carriage bolt (to have the square portion under the head) and quickly tig welded on a large stainless wing nut. Seemed like the most logical choice and the closest I could find to the old C clamps posted above.
What should we do next?
