I am deciding between these two lifts to give extra lift height for standard cars (meaning underneath clearance for tall people without using truck adapters or something like that to gain clearance). Does anyone have specific experience in build quality between these two lifts?
OP - Did you decide on the axls Bendpak? I have been debating the same lift for the same reason. Closest other option I came up with was the Atlas OH10X. Their specs list the max height including adapters at 7' and it appears their stackable adapters add up to 9" so the lift without adapters...
Anyone installed the xpr 10a low profile
If you installed this in the wide configuration, have you come across limitations in the cars you can lift? Since the arms are a bit shorter than the regular, I was concerned about being able to lift a narrow car like a triumph spitfire or something...
Bringing up an older post to see if I can get input. I'm debating between the bendpak as and low profile arm.
In the wide configuration for the low profile arm, has anyone experienced limitations in being able to extend arms enough to pick up small cars, lets say a triumph spitfire?

I am building a detached garage in which I plan to have a tv needing cable service from the house and wifi. Is there any reason to run a coax cable as well as a CAT5 line both to the garage. We use Verizon and they have wifi extenders that connect to coax for extending from the main router. I...
Thanks everyone for their input. I'm in Baltimore so winters aren't usually harsh. I will probably put a 60k unit in and install it on the back gable wall in the center. I'm just going to use a standard power vent unit (not sealed combustion chamber) as I don't expect there to be a lot of...
This garage will have one car all the time. I plan to keep it at 50 degrees during winter and then heat it up to room temp when I want to work in it (mostly weekends and maybe some weeknights). As far as heater sizing, part of the oversize was to accommodate not keeping it at a constant temp...
Here are a couple of photo's. The inside picture is standing at the gable wall that I was thinking of putting the heater. I would point directly at the garage opening but as I read Reznor's site, that is also what the suggest (at least the way I read it). I guess the idea is that it helps...
I'm trying to decide where I will mount a ceiling mount propane heater (like Reznor). Space is a 30 x 30 garage with 10' walls that angle up to about a 12' ceiling (the trusses are angled towards the top to give me extra clearance for a lift). The garage doors (two 9' wide) are located the...
I also would like to ask users who have experience working on cars between 4 post and 2 post. The only way I will get a 4 post is with rolling jacks (not jack trays) as I will primarly wrench on cars vs. storing. Do you find a 4 post with rolling jacks significantly more limiting in access to...
