I'm moving a clothes dryer about 7 feet. The existing Cable is 8-3 (red, black & white) with no ground wire. I wanted to use a metal junction box but I need to ground it. The dryer is grounded by using a jumper wire from the chassis to the neutral. Any reason I can't use that same method...
