Bought this from an old GM assembly plant. Had to remove it myself. Converted the 3 phase to single phase, added a cooling system and good vise. I works extremely well.

No slightly different. The thread the cap goes onto is bit smaller and the thread where the core goes is about the same. Thanks on the info on the brass- it is cast!

Thanks, I thought they looked pretty cool too! And using them in my auto shop is pretty neat also. I have some Greenfield stuff I use now- modern though.
I know little about old tools but actually bought these to use too. Anything of high value in the this group I would be better off not using? eBay lot I just won the other day.
