The Taiwanese wrench sets are the way to go: Mountain, Icon or Tekton.

A 15 piece Tekton set runs $50. $40 for a US made set in good condition sounds like decent deal to me.

@M-EGT That bit driver would be great to have even if it was rarely used. I guess it would also work as a 1/4 nutdriver.

Love my Koken, but the switch is backwards. The Tekton 1/4 is also top notch.

Koken also makes something (for pretty cheap... for Koken) that would probably work with the right wrenches...
