GTO PRO and Mighty Mule gate openers

I had a Mighty Mule for a year or so and had nothing but trouble with it, and couldn't find a local vendor to do any repairs or provide parts. I finally threw it away and got a US Automatic Patriot. It worked very well for nearly ten years, and when ever I had a problem or question I could...

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

I have 3 of the freebies. Nice lights. One in the shed, rest will go in closets.

Best tractor implement for leveling ground?

Box blade. They don't work very well in tight quarters or with soil with big rocks, and there is a good learning curve, but it'll work.

    Table saw rust.

Try steel wool or Skotchbrite pads and some kind of light lube like WD 40, ATF/Kerosene mixture, etc and scrub it off. If it's too heavy or stained, get a single edge razor blade scraper and the light lube (above) and it'll scrape off pretty easily. You'll probably need to change the razor...

    (It's) Riding lawn mower time

I've had a Kubota T series (T16xx) for sixteen years. It's been a great mower, and only had to be in the shop once in that time about two years ago, for a new carb. Otherwise I have put two sets of belts and blades on it, and my wife beats the **** out of it running over the gravel driveway...

    Storing Randomness

First, lots of shelves. Then, lots of things on the shelves to put things in. Coffee cans, Akro bins, Steralite boxes, a mix of things, just have lots of places to put stuff. Organize and sort it out, label as necessary. Then, the most important part. Train yourself to never, ever leave...

    Washington/Utah

I figured it was time to start posting here since I have seen a few threads I would like to contribute to. I'm most active over at OWWM, and somewhat at Sawmill Creek; yes, I'm mostly a woodworking guy. My wrenching is now limited to changing oil these days, but I've had my share of busted...
