yeah, the electrical guy down at HD said the same thing, and they're not for solid mounting. i'll get some spacers in there. unlike the other HD drones, this guy's a wiring guru... :shocking:

they are. i just popped off the strip that covers the ballast and screwed the frame thru the sheetrock into the joists, then put the cover strip back in...

just standard 4 foot. they're the $9 shop lights from HD. $4/pr for the bulbs. at that price you can fill a shop with lights (garage is 24x24-ish). i'm installing 6 more lights above where the garage doors roll up. i'm currently trying to figure out how i want to install some conduit for...

there's a few touch-ups to do but it's not dark and dingy anymore. old gray paint, no lights: walls painted, 8 fluorescent lights w/ 6 more going in: now to clean up the mess and get the cars back in...
