A local forum told me about this forum... I will have to read more posts for more idea's for my garage. Not done yet - I keep changing things around.

A few pictures

First one is the day I got my new place... a Chevy guy owned it before me.

Checkered tile from Home Depot and Costco roll under cars.

WOW....great job...that's beautiful!!!

How do you like the Costco roll out flooring? How did you seam it? Does it sweep and wash well? Can you use floor jacks and jack stands on it?

I'm thinking about VCT but am concerned about moisture migration so am also considering the Costco roll-out stuff.

Costco roll out stuff is very thick. it was a handful to cut.

I just overlap it a bit and needed 2 1/2 sections at it is 7.5 feet wide.

If you turn your wheels in the garage it buckles up a bit. If you just drive on straight, no issues.

Wash it. I have a 1900 psi washer and a 2900 at my business. I used the 1900 last spring to clean it and it took some time. I will use the 2900 one next spring. Wearing well, washed up fine - needed some elbow grease ( scrubbing needed ) to clean it and holding up fine.

I did change winter tires last year on it with no issues. No damage from the 2.5 ton jack.

Nice Subi. I too have a WRB 06 STI. Got anything done to it?

Garage is pretty sweet. Think I'm going to have to look into the temporary netting deal, mosquitos can be a ***** here.

I sold my STI - it was suppose to replace another Mustang I raced but had some issues with a Ford Racing motor I was installing ( sent it back for warranty ) and had to sell the 07 STI

STI was stock.. except for 18" rims

Yeah thanks BDL. Do you have a link to the flooring that you used?

My problem is my floor is a bit uneven and the concrete is flaking off from the previous owner trying to topcoat it. So I would like to just put this down instead of grinding and epoxying for now.

Home Depot - self stick tiles. Floor was fairly even and paint was standing up well to before I put them down.

My garage is heated and they are standing up well after 2 years now.

Beautiful. I like the idea of the garage floor tiles. Something I will definitely look into at Home Depot.

They were half the price of racedeck tiles. Nothing against Racedeck.

OH, I used 4 cement blocks and cushions ( to keep from scratching them ) to weight down the tiles ( kept moving the blocks as I put down more ) just after putting them down. Just an idea I thought of...

OH

I can't see it being online as it is real heavy.

It is very thick and I did cut one to make it fit.

hard to cut but that is good as it is thick. This is my second winter with it. I moved it out onto my driveway and pressure washed it last spring and it cleaned up nice. It is dirty now from winter but I will clean it again. My 1900 PSI pressure washer worked but took a while. I have a 2900 PSI too and will use that one this year.

It is $199 Canadian a roll, just seen it at Costco last night. So maybe $149 USD a roll in the USA

I think 7.5' wide x 17' long. Great stuff. 1/8th to 1/4" thick?? guessing

Only thing is if you turn your wheels it does bind up a bit... driving on straight... stays put.

Good stuff... I'm happy.

Wow, I am really liking this stuff. Like you said, just roll it out and hose it down every so often. Thats simple.

And has anyone else noticed that it is nearly double the price on every other website?! That is insane. Sam's club prices are really good compared to everyone else.

I would like to hear from other people about how they like this floor as well.

BAD kitty!

That looks like an awesome place to hang out. I really like that entertainment cabinet setup.
