    Airflow thru partition wall

Is that a wall with a door, or just an opening? I would blow the high hot air into cooled space opposite the opening.

Can I plumb two 60 gallon compressors together?

Virtually all the air tools we used at the plant were 90psi max. Running the line pressure higher than that made little sense. You would have to regulate every point of use.

But you lose the benefit of the additional storage capacity. You regulate your line pressure to 120psi, yes? Just tie the 125PSI tank in after the regulator.

What is the purpose of the check valve?

Ding filling in woodwork before painting

My dad used this when I was a kid in the '60s.

Why do you want to run them both, do you generally not have enough air now? You can used one pressure switch, but I would use an on-delay relay so that the slave unit starts five seconds after the mater units to avoid the big amp hit.

We need a BIL joke thread... "He couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel."

    Kennedy Kits Discontinued

Volume makes a big difference. One-off simpler parts, or higher volume parts that that can be fixtured are often cheaper on manual machines. With stampings, we'd say that up to about 5,000 parts a year, a turret press was cheaper. Over that, you can justify hard tooling.

The Rally boxes were pretty badass when I was a kid. Black wrinkle and woodgrain drawers as I remember. They used to have the separate tool catalog you could get by mailing the insert back

The 100V stuff generally does not last long on 230V, regardless of the frequency. In my house, the original receptacles are National (Panasonic) brand two-blade US style plugs, but they are wired 230V. The new circuits in the house use these that take the US and Euro plugs.

Almost none of the electric second hand is useful here as we are 230V. I almost fell for a badass Hitachi electric demo hammer...

They are all a ****-shoot. Independent thrift stores are generally lower priced, but you almost never get lucky and find a gem. There is always someone that knows how to value stuff. And at all the stores, the staff gets first pick... We have a Japanese secondhand store nearby that gets...

I was into thrift shopping for a few years, you can get lucky now and then, but if you really work at it you can find stuff regularly. If you do not enjoy it, it is not worth the effort.
