    Framing problem

********. The wood plate will fail long before a properly installed Titen HD will. Period.

axle stuck in hub - ideas for removal?

Air hammer with a point, a good quality one not a wal-mart/harbor freight special. Works everytime. If that dosent work, put the puller back on , tighten it up and hit the back of the puller bolt with a flat bit in the air hammer.

Nope Mines 32x32 and i consider it a single bay. The rest of the space is tools.

What is really needed to raise my garage doors up higher? (couple pics)

Maybe switch to a jack shaft type opener like a liftmaster 3800? That would eliminate the opener and track in the area where the vehicle would be lifted. Then you would have to extend the tracks at the bottom to gain height with the door open.

    Cracked block joints

Stack and bond mortar comes to mind. But more importantly, do you know why they cracked? A poorly made footing perhaps. Or just a bad mortar job on the joints themselves.

    My Bendpak Experience (so far)

@ ket-tek I dont see where anyone is bashing bend pak, but there is clearly an issue with the fact that these lifts are being lifted from the side and being damaged. Im merely suggesting that bend pak could take some steps to make the lift safe to lift from the side, such as covering the column...

    My Bendpak Experience (so far)

I could be soothed by a set of frame cradle adapters and safety stands!

    My Bendpak Experience (so far)

I had the same issue with my xpr10. I had some scratches on my lift when unpacked and one of the shipping frames was bent and the bolts holding it on were loose. This is a fact of life when anything ships to my rural location, horrible roads around here are mostly to blame. But the scratches on...

Do you leave your cordless tool batteries in the charger?

Ten years ago, had a dewalt 18v charger burst into flames on the jobsite. Luckily we were on site as it could have ended badly. Needless to say I do not leave my chargers plugged in or the batteries in them.

Benpak XPR-10 (wide vs narrow) question

I have the XPR-10 set wide, and it has not been a problem. If you have the space ,set it wide.

2 post lift, typical lift points ??

Many rusty rockers here in the northeast. Lifting by the pinch welds, no bueno. I always put the front two lift pads on the subframe mounts, and the rear two on suspension mount. For vehicles with a frame i go to the book.

How much can a Bend Pac HD-9 lift up?

Bend-pak lifts are ali certified, "All ALI certified lifts are tested 1.5 TIMES past their rated capacity, they cycle the lift load several times at 150% capacity, and several times at rated capacity to ensure that if you put 10,000-lbs. on a 10,000-lb. rated capacity lift, it will not bend...

Picked up a new (used) Snap-On box today!

I dragged this box home today, found it locally. I needed a rolling cart to bring to the vehicles and projects in the shop. My other box is just to heavy to move around. Its a lot bigger than it looked in the ad. Has stainless roll back top, and four drawers. All ball bearing. $400
