What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Was in the shop tearing down a project I started 20 years ago. Started thinking I need to get back on here and say HI to all. It’s been over three years since I logged in. My bad... I’m back y’all, garage and all! -dbonne

    Price check on miller welder/gen

I just sold an 80's weldanpower for $800, paint was faded but great mechanical shape. I wouldn't pay over $500 for it, though.

The only crummy part is the lack of the 20mm full polish. Good wrenches other than that!

    Milwaukee cordless to corded adapter

I took an old battery pack and gutted it, added a long (heavy Gauge) wire with a Cig adaptor and a set of alligator clips. Best 12 volt tool I ever had for working on an auto. Make sure you don't cross the polarity, it will toast the power tool.

    Friction Ratchets?

Just came across this thread while looking for inserts for my gedore friction ratchet. We use these ratchets for loosening bolts on extruder barrels that have been heated for years and are extraordinarily tight. This design gets right close to the barrel when working on a flange. These are...
