    #$@&ing Tweakers!

The problem across the country seems to be that the "takers" among us have been emboldened by the inaction of police and most citizens to their brazen behavior. Couple this with cheap drugs and the continued drilling in their heads that they are "victims" of a cruel rich vs. poor society and...

    Saylor Beall or Champion

I checked my Champion tonight after the earlier statement made that the Champions have a one piece aluminum cylinder assembly. Mine is in three seperate pieces (including the cylinder head), and the whole thing attracts a magnet. My guess is that the whole assembly is cast iron.

    Saylor Beall or Champion

I've had my new Champion for about three months, and I couldn't be happier. I bought the 5 hp 80 gallon one you discussed. The unit weighs a ton, and I cannot find one area where I think the quality could be better. I bought it through TP Tools, and got it in a couple of weeks. I have mainly...

    Help me pick a compressor

I bought a 5hp 80 gallon Champion from TP Tools about 6 months ago. Free shipping and paid about $1700 for it. I have used it mainly for a blast cabinet and air tools, and it is way more than adequate. The quality of construction was head and shoulders above the IR and home improvement brands...

From the Wiki page about Marshall Teague, who was one of the first NASCAR stars: Teague died while attempting a closed course speed record in a reconfigured Indy car at the newly opened Daytona International Speedway. He was conducting test sessions in preparation for the April debut of the...

    AR-15 service rifles

I used to participate quite a bit. I even went to Camp Perry one year. As posted, it is expensive if you get real serious about it. The rifle is the easy part. You will definitely need a coat, a spotting scope and stand, a mat, a cart, a glove, tons of little accessories, and pretty good...

What wire for welder and medium air compressor?

Thanks for the help so far! Both machines are used. According to Lincoln, the input on the welder is 60 amps. I cannot find any info on the compressor though. I am guessing around 30 amps. Should I run the wires through conduit? Ddurango

What wire for welder and medium air compressor?

I need to wire an outlet for a Lincoln AC/DC 225 Tombstone welder and a 3 hp 220AC compressor. My outlets will be no more than 25 ft. from the main breaker box for the house. What supplies will I need for the job? Specifically, do I need 8/3 or 10/3 wire? Thanks in advance for the help! Ddurango
