Also wondering how this went? We are also considering rockwool. Second to that about vapor barrier with rockwool, I don't think it's needed. My barn has housewrap so I hope that is an added benefit on top of the rw.

See in my eyes, that attic is just that an attic. I don't know the right way to do it yet... That area in the main living/kitchen area is 14ft height. That storage area above .. I don't plan on heating atleast not right now.. the pictures of that area prob look a bit confusing, but either way...

We built a 30×96×14 pole building and it will have about 1,200 sq ft of living space (barndo-style). It’s already used for our business, and the near-future plan is to build a separate house. That’ll just mean we can live right next to the shop/barndo… or in it, if my wife ever kicks me out. 😂...
