Decided on the 5HP Eaton Compressor

I received the new compressor yesterday: The new compressor is huge (compared to my puny IR compressor), but seems to slide around on the cement floor fairly easy with the pallet boards I left connected to the bottom.

Looking for Large Ball Joint Separator

I ended up using a Tie Rod Remover I already had to separate the Spindle from the control arm. http://www.amazon.com/OTC-Outer-Tie-Rod-Remover/dp/B0002SRGTI/ref=sr_1_41?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1449958544&sr=1-41&keywords=otc+puller Although its not really designed to handle ball joints, I...

Looking for Large Ball Joint Separator

Yes I have that so I can remove the Ball Joint from the control arm, but I'm not sure it would work correctly to separate the Ball Joint from the spindle.

Looking for Large Ball Joint Separator

Good Idea, but the control arms and spindles were removed from the car still connected together. I could try putting in a vise, but may end up damaging the control arms.

Looking for Large Ball Joint Separator

I recently purchased an OTC Ball Joint Separator Set, but come to find out the Ball Joint Separator won't open wide enough. The OTC Ball Joint Separator only opens about 2 in, I need something closer to 3 in. Normally I would just use the pickle fork to separate the ball joint from the spindle...

Decided on the 5HP Eaton Compressor

It Appears to be a very good compressor for under $2k, I like the fact that everything is re-buildable and not cheap throw away parts like I see on lower priced compressors, and you can call the manufacturer directly and actually talk to someone (I called Eaton and spoke to Matt the owner...

Decided on the 5HP Eaton Compressor

After checking Several Air Compressors, prices and features: Quincy 60 Gal, 2 Stage, 5HP, 1299.00 Air compressor Direct: It was my first choice, but it appears to be made with cheaper parts, compared to the higher end Quincy...

Air Compressor, dual Stage, 60 gallon

I'm looking for a good 60 gallon, dual Stage Air Compressor, around $1500.00. It will be used for Auto Body work, Sand Blaster, power tools. I have space for an vertical 80 gallon, but prefer the 60 gallon because space is limited. Here is what I have been able to find so far: Quincy 5-HP...

    Craftsman floor jack/jack stands deal?

I have that jack and jack stands. The Stands are small, but seem to be good build and should hold 3 tons. The Floor Jack works fine, but I find it to be very heavy and the lifting arm appears to be shorter then some others, so it doesn't lift up the car as high as I would like. The only other...

    Dewalt 80 Gal Compressor

I am looking at a 60-80 Gal 2 Stage Compressor, I ran across this at Home Depot, on sale for $1159.00, appears to be a good deal and a decent Compressor. Most others in this price range are around $1500.00 or more...
