After checking Several Air Compressors, prices and features:

Quincy 60 Gal, 2 Stage, 5HP, 1299.00 Air compressor Direct:
It was my first choice, but it appears to be made with cheaper parts, compared to the higher end Quincy.

Dewalt 80 Gal. 2 stage, 5HP Home Depot $1159.00
This seems to have some good comments, but it appears to be noisy, probably because of the high RPM's.

Emaxx 80 gal, 5hp, 2 stage, Home depot: $1499.00
This is the same compressor that I purchased at Eaton, but with the Emaxx label, this also sells for $1899.00 at Air Compressor Direct (pays to shop around).

Eaton 5hp, 2 stage, Factory Direct, $1288.00

I wanted the best Air Compressor at around $1500.00, with shipping it does come to about $1600.00, but this is with curbside shipping, the shipping is reduced if sent to a depot or business. Compared to the others listed, the price comes out very close, with the shipping charges, etc..

I will update the post once I receive the Eaton Compressor..

I have the same compressor. You will love it! Mine runs my air tools and blast cabinet wonderfully. Just keep a good service interval and it should give you great service.

Yes, please update when it arrives. I have been looking at the Eaton compressors, since the factory is about 5 mins up the road.

It Appears to be a very good compressor for under $2k, I like the fact that everything is re-buildable and not cheap throw away parts like I see on lower priced compressors, and you can call the manufacturer directly and actually talk to someone (I called Eaton and spoke to Matt the owner, before making the purchase , try doing that with most of the other Compressor Makers) .

Its a heavy beast, shipping weight is over 700lbs, I noticed most of the others I listed weighed less then 600lbs, probably the aluminum that is used on the cheaper compressors.

I will update with pics as soon as its delivered.

I received the new compressor yesterday:

The new compressor is huge (compared to my puny IR compressor), but seems to slide around on the cement floor fairly easy with the pallet boards I left connected to the bottom.
