I saw that Rockwell model and I thought that as well. It might be that my Porter Cable saw is a re-badged Rockwell from the very early sixties? And, thanks for the link. I'll check that out.

Hi, This is my first post. I've been a lurker for a little bit. I came across an old looking Porter Cable circular saw. I've searched the internet for information but I haven't found much. I'm pretty sure it's not from the 50's based on what I saw in Porter Cable catalogs 101 and 104. I'm...
