In the late 80'S gas was about 1 dollar a gallon and the average family income was about $40 K . Today gas is more than 3 times higher and average family incomes are less than double.

Dint realize you had the strap anchored to the floor. Wrap one strap around each castor at the front of the box. That beam should be able t lift the box but if it sags just prop it up with 4x. I take ityour using ome sort of winch to lift.
They have masonry screws.very strong and simple. Also lead and plastic anchor inserts that expand when you insert the screws. Liquid nails also makes a masonry adhesive if i remember correctly.
Just put the doors on. Ive got to sand clear them but it,s starting to come together.
We went to Ikea last weekend and they have a good variety of countertop for a great price. I think il go with a dark,top almost black.
Heres a good look at the skeleton for the top cabinets. All 2x2 glued with Kreg jig connections. Later I glued ½ plywood dividers to stiffen the frame. Here again, It’s cheap to build but it takes a lot more work and you cant take them with you when you move.
First set of cabinets done and ready to move on to the long wall. I bought that 12” harbourfreight saw about 3 years ago to build a deck at my old house I’ve gotten my moneys worth. Not very accurate but works for rough work like this.

This is exactly what I had in mind when I started then I got all carried away putting things together. Most of these legs are not touching the floor.There is about an 1/8" gap as they sit right now. Ive got to figure out what to shim them with. after i coat them with the floor epoxy.
