You 'should' be able to buy the part. You need to identify the motor manufacturer though.

Not bad, I was looking at farm animal shade tarps, similar, maybe less. Those roll up like a window shade? Can't add a tree, no space. That would only solve a few hours....

My garage door faces west so I get hot bright sun most of the day. I put a 20x20 apron in front so that's a bright reflector. I need ideas for shade so I can have the door open, without shade I just can't see due to the brightness. (either from sun or reflection) I've been dealing with it...

I use a TECO VFD on my Jet mill. It has a 3 ph 1 hp motor and the VFD converts my 120v to run it just great. I have a hydraulic unit that I could use it on as well but no projects for it so I'll be selling it.

I have a hydraulic unit for sale. It could be good for a log splitter or hyd. press, maybe a bender? It has a 1hp 3 ph. motor (I use one with a VFD to run off 120v). I have 2 cylinders and flow control valves also. I can get more pictures

Thanks for the replies. It died because of overuse, but really it lasted 25 years. Fedwrench, I'll have a look at cripe, thank you. I'll check into adding a latch but maybe a belt will work.

Off is closed. I might even use a battery instead of a power supply. Since the switch I have has 2 sets of contacts it might be useful as a faux alarm light. (don't tell anyone)
