Air ratchet vs. impact wrench ?

A 1/4 inch one is nice to have for dropping oil pans, valve covers, diff covers, stuff like that with alot of bolts to remove, saves alot of time. I use my 3/8 for motor work like water pumps, removing heads, body panels etc. Same principle, just more power

    Screwdriver Set

I'm stuck between two. I love my old hard handle snappys but I still use my craftsman classic hard handles I always feel like I can get a better purchase on them even with greased hands.

What the heck were they thinking???

Seems like you have passion. Someone will see that and give you a chance at some point. Don't get discouraged

What the heck were they thinking???

I had a big chain lube shop bust out my drain plug in a jiffy... They ended up getting me a new oil pan after alot of deliberation with their customer service. After that experience I went back to changing my own. I should've known better I know a few guys that like to play mechanic on the...

    semi deep sockets

I have all three sets for 3/8 (all snap on just for reference, not sure of any other brand) and the semi is the go to first 90% of the time it will work when it doesn't it's usually a clearance issue for me so it goes to the shallow. I honestly don't use my deep to often but when you need them...

Reversible Ratcheting Wrenches vs. Typical Ratcheting Wrenches

I have all the types of these wrenches and the short and skinny of it all is not one wrench will fit all applications or be the best choice, sometimes the added meat from the reversible get in the way, sometimes the regulars zero offset causes problems, sometimes the added length of the double...

Advice for a screwdriver holder for tool bag

I never thought of getting that type of pouch. I might mull that over, the only thing I don't like about it is I'll still have to fish through that bag now to find the correct driver. I like the idea of taking the roll out and knowing what to grab

Advice for a screwdriver holder for tool bag

I'm looking for some suggestions or wisdom on how to organize my tool bags screwdrivers. Long story short I'm putting my tool kit for side jobs in an old army backpack I was given and I need a way to secure the screwdrivers so they don't just roll in the bottom. I have 4 of the buck boss...

My new (to me) US General 5 drawer tool cart

I appreciate this and the depth you went into this but I need the info on the other piece of the locking mechanism, the one on the lock that works in conjunction with that piece. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough in the first post

My new (to me) US General 5 drawer tool cart

Yeah I just was lazy and way hoping thato someone had one. I might be in there next week so I'll see if there is one there and hopefully it's open. I'll get to that soon. I picked it up and dropped it off at my father in laws house and forgot.

My new (to me) US General 5 drawer tool cart

I just scored a cart from cl for 60 bucks, thing is in mint condition only has like 3 stickers on it too. Everything works has both keys and everything shuts properly. Only problem is that the top lid won't lock due to the actual latch part missing. My request is if someone could take a couple...

Let's Hear It for "The First Craftsman Tools I Bought Were..."

My first craftsman item (since it's not a tool in the literal sense) was a 3 tier box from my dad for my 16th b day inext 06 when I was 17 I had saved enough money to finally get a 258 (or however much it was) set at sears in the black and grey case. I believe it was 128 at the time on sale. I...
