Don't know the answer to your question, but according to Chris Schwartz, who is the expert, you can put the pin above the stretcher so you don't have to kneel down. dho

    window air/heat recommendations?

My workshop is a detached garage - concrete block, 10' ceilings, attic storage roof, minimal insulation. The main area is 24' x 24', with a side area of 16' x 14'. I'm in central Florida. I don't need to be cold in summer or hot in winter, just looking to moderate the extremes. I see that...

    Prentiss Bulldog question

Does anyone have any tips for removing the locking collar on the main screw of a Prentiss Bulldog? The fingers of the collar are bent into a keyway to hold it in place and I'm having a devil of a time trying to remove it. Thanks for the help! dho

    Help with thread view

Yes, but then I have to do that for every thread. How can I get the linear mode to be the default? I don't understand why it doesn't work when I have it set that way in my user cp options. Thanks for the reply. dho

    Help with thread view

It used to be that when I viewed a thread, it was in linear mode, oldest first. But, something has changed so that all the threads are in threaded mode. How do I get back to linear mode? My User CP is set to linear; I've logged in and out; I've searched. It's probably something simple, but...

    Polish vise?

PT Doc, I've got a larger model of that vise. Mine has 6" jaws; base is 10" in diameter. It's heavy! Several features I like: not as tall as a comparable size American vise; the movable jaw is the rear jaw; the swival mechanism is rock solid. dho
