I use rat guard and base trim interchangable but I posted a picture above of the concrete ledge I created so I am curious if I also need to use a rat guard/base trim in the concrete ledge.
Maybe there is some misunderstanding. I attached a picture of the concrete ledge.
The original plan was to just set the sheet metal in this ledge but I am curious if I should go an extra step and also use a piece of base trim that sets in this ledge and then place the sheet metal on the base trim.
Thank you! I was thinking of using a house wrap then using a tape like Siga Fentrim to tape the bottom of the house wrap into the ledge of the concrete. Then I would put the base trim in the ledge and then sheet metal on base trim. Thoughts?
