My old, inherited air compressor finally gave up the ghost. Using my backup now. However, it exhibits a weird problem when I use it. Although it seems to fill, no leaks, and holds pressure, when I first start using it, whether a blow gun or air chuck, the pressure is incredible low at first...

I'm no electrician but I'm sure one will be along shortly... In my experience the wiring itself will be easy since you're so close to the box. Your pain will be running the wires through the two studs between the box and where you want the outlet.

Very nice. I am in the process of building one remarkably similar and was thinking of the extra support for a vise exactly as you've done.

My first post - actually found this forum while researching how to restore an old vice. My grandfather died about ten years ago and his old vise has been in my storage shed since. Decided it was time to clean it up and put it to use. It is covered in years of dirt and grease. It is a Columbian...
