Got everything put together, pump inlet filled.
pump runs fine if yard hydrant is open, but with Hydrant closed it pumps up to 60 psi and then goes wild and starts spitting and sputtering instead of cutting off. Any ideas?
I've got it plumbed to the pump with PVC, will be PEX from there to the ends of the lines. I only have 1 gutter run that is catching which is 35'.
Question, even with say 20 something degree temps here in Georgia, if the tank is halfway full I shouldnt have to worry about the actual water in...

$70 - 35' of gutters
$60 - 4" foamcore pipe and fittings
$30 - new lid for tank
$40 - 4" gaskets and holesaw to drill into tank
$160 - jet pump from Harbor Freight
$50 - 1" pvc pipe and fittings...
Now that we've had a break in the rain I was finally able to get my truck into the new shop. One of the main reason to build this shop was my plans to do a Cummins swap on this 95 F-250. My shop at home is 30x30 with one roll up door which mean tying up the whole shop for months had I attempted...
Yelp, been working in the lumber building material field for almost 20 years now, the only thing that should be exact measurement are pre-cut studs.
Everything else will be like mentioned above and run about 1/4"-1/2" long.
Just a little update on the shop, finally got all my conduit run and lights and receps installed. now just trying to find pallet racking for storage on the bare walls and small shelving for the loft for miscellaneous parts and such.

The land is currently being farmed in front of it but I’m slowly in the process of planting most of it in trees, I didn’t want the shop anywhere that one day I’d have to worry about trees or anything....

Finally got the shop up, took a while, still waiting on doors...this every other day rain we've been having hasn't made things easy. Hopefully they'll be up by the time I get back from a work trip this week and I can start on the wiring
