    Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I left out the thickness, it is .075". Bit thick for a saw blade, bit thin for a jointer knife. Anyway, those catalogues look very interesting & I will explore. THanks!

    I found this in a tool box I bought at auction. Thought it was a piece of scrap until I tried to cut a piece off. Found it very hard. Then I saw a faint Simonds logo (dating to 1900 or so from the looks of it) etching with a number 18 stamped above it. Google didn't recognize it. So what is it...

    Greetings. I was given a 1 hp Rockwell 3750 rpm table saw motor, likely from the 50s or 60s. Seems little used, but someone has been messing with the wiring and I am at a loss as to how to hook it up to 120. Wires are not numbered. Motor model # MHP-R1451-1RGMK which the internet has never heard...
