    Wet/Vapor/Blast Machine's

Brad Arnold is a heck of a smart guy, and he's spent a lot of time building his DIY Vapor cabinets. He has a book about his designs and part choices......can't go wrong @ $10 IMO https://www.arnoldsdesign.com/vapor-blaster-handbook Use the 'free' carbon steel, stainless is not needed. And 12ga...

    The Abrasive Blasting Resource Thread

If I plugged that in the elec company would send me a Christmas card next winter. So far no demand charge on diesel fuel, unlike 3 phase electric.

Harbor Freight Electric Hoist – How to Extend the Remote Control Cable?

FYI, there actually is special cable for electric hoist pendants. It has multiple conductors plus 1/8" braided cable inside the rubber outer cover for mechanical strength for pulling on the hoist trolley. It is super expensive per foot.

    Air compressor expansion tank question

Sandblasting and the laws of physics are pretty much set in stone no matter how some people would like to try to bend them. When I see 3.7HP and Sandblasting in the same sentence, it makes me squint a bit. Sandblasting IS CFM and pressure. I'd say the absolute minimum HP needed to get any...

Tools you bought just because, "Some day, I might need that !"

I do that too much. At harbor freight, other stores, online, flea markets, etc. Things bought on a whim have in fact come in handy about 5% of the time, so consider that a win. Plus it makes me happy to buy tools, at 65yrs old, so F it.....lol About 5 years ago, bought the HF powered pipe...

I installed window screen spaced 1" off the inside glass. It helps, it deflects a large percentage of the particles barreling toward the glass.

    But.....air tanks don't actually blow up......right?

Man that's a lot of former tank wall thickness laying there on the ground. Most tank data plates specify tank shell and head minimum thickness, which means any thinner due to corrosion is not acceptable. From the pictures, I'd declare that tank 'done'.

    But.....air tanks don't actually blow up......right?

Guy I know used to use compressed air to transfer diesel fuel from a 55gal drum into his tractor. He'd put 2 TO 4 PSI in the top of the barrel and fuel would gush out of the outlet hose that ran with pvc pipe to the bottom of the barrel. Along comes his brother one day, going to fuel up a...
