Just got off the phone with the City of Raleigh. Of course.. they say I need a permit. Seems kind of silly since I am not changing anything structural to the house. All of that is staying in tact. I bet they would ask for a permit to change a faceplate on a light switch if I asked!! Ugh..

Well I've found a brick mason who said he can do a veneer wall with some existing bricks I have left over from planters in my back yard. He reccomends wood framing everything and bricking over top. I like this option! Now, does anyone have a reccomendation of someone to do this work near...
