    Vintage Sun Testing Equipment

    I had my grand-dads Sun dist machine till he died (I was the only one who knew how to use it), a family member retrieved it after, not a mechanical guy, he set it in a hot corner uncovered and let it (the rubber) rot! then junked it! Arrrgh!...they both, especially the 1120 tester look like...

    fyi, the strange looking oval with the hole on the handle end is a heading tool, look up (blacksmithing) nail makers tools It'll show how that's used :)

    Bell system

    have a pair of B/S pliers...blunt tip needle type, has a flat grip at tip with a step and tapered gap towards the rear, for stripping solid analog phone wire, also a B/S Ingot of soldering alloy, all gotten from my uncle, worked for them from post Korea to just pre electronics, late 70s....

    small riveting tool, grand dad had one like it, hot work, trimming, pre set, never got to use it myself but watched him use it, not sure I could name all the functions though, 40 odd yrs ago...

    nother new guy

    just another tool junky, restoration specialist and smith. currently recovering from a meth addict burglary, got my trenton anvil, my complete self fabbed forge and too many other tools to list, Ins covered about 75%...coulda been worse :wtf:...a relative!
