    Well that was my logic in the beginning, I wanted to have a unit to heat quickly and not work very hard when its 50 below zero outside, also I thought a lot of heat loss would occur with the large door so with a bigger unit, it would take less to get the temp back up

    My garage is 24ft 1in x 24 ft 2 in, I have a 15ft 10in 6ft 11in insulated garage door, the ceiling when finished will be about 9 ft 2in high and I got a cement floor, I just bought a 75,000 btu heater, is that too excessive? Does anyone think I will be better off with a 45,000 BTU heater...

    I am installing insulation, I would like to know what is better to use, R11 16 inch bat with paper to staple it or the R13 16 inch bat, is it worth the money to get the R13?
