    Opinion on these tools?

They're low to mid range in quality, but worth what they are asking for. I see mostly see craftsman and campbell in there. Craftsman I've never had a problem with other than they dont have much power (refering to impact wrenches and air ratchets here) Never owned a campbell because I know...

    Old Snap-On toolbox Value -Opinions-

I would list at $450. Antiques are generally worth quite a bit of money. Snap-on as you know has made quite a name for itself and should be worth quite a bit just for the name. Of course you wont get $450 for it but start there.

    Electrolysis question?

You use stainless steel for electrolysis because it doesn't corrode. Copper does. and electrolysis will actually reverse the process used to make galvanized steel. I've made a few hydrogen generators with all different types of metals and stainless is the only one that can be run without the...

    2 9' wide doors or a single 16' door in a 30x40 pole barn?

Re: 2 8' doors or a single 16' door in a 30x40 pole barn? Then personally I would go with the big door.

    2 9' wide doors or a single 16' door in a 30x40 pole barn?

Re: 2 8' doors or a single 16' door in a 30x40 pole barn? Is it going to be heated and cooled? More loss of temperature when you open the bigger door compared to the singles.

    My workbench/ garage dilemma

Get a locking toolbox! Tell him when he stops whining about you taking up space he can borrow tools, and ONLY if he puts them back! I'm in your shoes though! I take up 1/3 of my dad's garage! I'm 17 years old... I have a full time job and a lot nicer tools than he does. Air compressor, welder...

    Power Tool Choice for Job?

I would go with an air cut off wheel. Depending on how thick it is maybe a grinder. Masonry is for tile though. You would want a metal cut off wheel if you were going to go with the skil saw. EDIT: Okay, some masonry blades allow for cutting iron and other metals. The ones I was thinking of do...

    Little Craftsman Blow Torch

I would think this is from the 50's ish. Maybe earlier. I collect vintage and antiques. DON'T CLEAN IT UP!!! It loses value (and overall "coolness" in my opinion)!
