I just purchased the Gladiator brand from Walmart for $139.00 w/free delivery. They are the 72”H x 78”W x 24”D 3 shelf ones! Also I was at Costco yesterday and they had the edsal unit with the same dimensions but with 4 shelves for $129.00.

LOL I did the exact same thing with my workmate, I made a work bench top for It so I would have a bigger area while working on the three (3) free snowblowers I picked! Worked great.

Makes sense since you just made a giant speaker out of the attic by doing this. Certainly making a insulated closet is the best, but for those who don't have the footprint for that, piping the intake outside reduces the noise quite a bit!

Doesn't anyone just pipe the intake and correct filter and housing setup outside anymore! Did this in many shops in ALL climates without a problem years ago! Cut down on the noise dramatically.

This is exactly what I finally figured out. I don't know why it stumped me for a while, maybe it was the blazing heat? Yeah the fan blade is on order (rather old Bryant unit) and will be replaced asap!

Isn't that for a direct drive blower motor?

Btw I was stumped on the red black lo/hi! I kept thinking it was for rpm not amps. Is that right?

Old motor had 4 wires brown- brown/white black yellow also had a seperate cap for motor! Picked up new motor (multi hp) which has 5 wires brown black purple orange red plus the person at the parts desk just wanted me to use a new multi tap capacitor and do away with the motor cap and just use...

You'd pay 2k for junk today! I think it's actually a pretty decent buy. Looking at cl in my area 2 grand buys you a beat to **** snapon, or mac bottom only. It wouldn't hurt to low ball him at first, and set a high limit you're willing to spend. You'll never find a NOS this pristine again.

In 1983 the shop I worked for bought a similar "color" jack from the Mac tool truck! Light orange with white lettering and handle grip! That said, a picture would help!
