Yes thanks THX 138, I made out well on the garage but not so well on the motorcycle accident later on in the year. Win some, lose some. Thanks Throttle jockey, I have to remind myself it is really mine sometimes. Actually that is my 79 Vespa in the corner.

OOPS forgot about the cabinets. They were pretty easy to assemble. Of all the pieces I only had a problem with one of the cabinets. There are inserts that you thread the stud into for the joining cams was not tapped. Other than that they were nice and quick to assemble.

Yes the insurance took care of it but with some help from me. The old garage had oak timbers for the floor and it had a crawl space under it. When the car hit the side of the garage, it hit the black alfa and spun it 45 degrees, which took out the new snowblower and the motorcycle in addition...

No they were from Sears. "Ultimate Garage" is the brand. So far I am happy with them. I got them on double sale (they were on sale and then they had a special sale with like another 10 or 15% off.)

I figured I would post the finished garage pictures ran out of $$ so i didn't sheet rock the interior but insulated and used the TEKFOIL for the ceiling. 20 minutes of running the heater brings it up to temp nicely! The German Ladies: The Italian Ladies: The heater: The rear bench:

    Lighting...

Skinner- That makes me feel better about my calculations on lighting needs in my 22X40 garage. I was planning on 6 4 foot 2 bulb T8 fixtures and an additional 8 foot (2 4 foots) that I had from the old garage closer to the bench. Plus a twin halogen shoplight hung over the bench.

The rise and fall of building product prices

Not to stray too far off the topic but a buddy of mine scoffed at the idea of me using metal (copper or anything else) tubing for the air lines. He said that the plastic PVC lines are the way to go now. Anyone else? BTW I want to sheet rock the garage but may wait till prices drop. Sheetrock...

I did have some pictures but took them down to make way for the pictures of the new garage. When I get a chance I'll post one. Well seeing he hit the house and then accelerated into the garage, I should do something!

I have an 1983 GTV6 and a 1987 Milano Verde. The Verde was in the garage at the time of "impact." Poor girl swung 45 degrees and hit the new Ariens and the ninja. The Ninja sustained left hand side fairing damage but never fell over as the kick stand got caught under the alfa and held it up...
