Very nice. Are those the old Gulf Porsche colors and number(s)? Where did you get those nice metal benches?

Ben,
Floor tiles are Armstrong VCTs.

Joe,
Thanks

DD,
Yup, Vintage Gulf racing colors/#.

SC,
HA! everyone I show the pics notices the door!

Elky,
Yup, those are tables out of the lab I use to work at....got them for $30 a piece when the research money ran dry.

I'll post more picks when I hang prints and plumb the compressed air.

Seriously sweet space. I love the wall colors & stripe. I can't wait to see how you do the air lines; I've been wondering how I'm going to run mine.

Very nice! What kind of paint did you use on the wall (especially the concrete/blocks)? I'm looking to paint the concrete wall portion of my garage before doing the floor.

The drywall and block walls were completely sprayed white during construction (house is 1.5 years old) so I'm not sure what they used on the block. It wasn't very pourous (sp?) so I imagine it was something pretty thick but still a latex base. I painted the blue and orange over that so I somewhat cheated...for that I used a latex semi-gloss Behr brand paint (just **** you get from home depot nothing special).

Anywho levelled the work benches, made a bracket for fishing poles and surfboards to hang from the ceiling, and cleaned up a bit more last night...slow progress I know. Hopefully this weekend I'll get my chopsaw back so I can start making the picture frames for the racing prints I have....once they are up I'll post more pics. Still haven't put much thought into where I am going to route the compressed air but that should follow shortly.
