There is nothing wrong with you except selling your lathe. Since you work on old cars and engines, lathes, welders, tools, etc. all go hand in hand. Keep what you got and buy more tools but not so much that you lose your working space. Mahalo, doogdoog

Aloha, The tank output pressure are not going to be the same. The Argon will be more than the helium but it should work out in the end with the torch is in the operational mode. Mahalo, doogdoog

Aloha, I am running a Lincoln tig 200 and if the torch can't handle the heat, I will get one that can. I have a large bottle of helium so I will try that first and go to a mixed gas if I have to. Mahalo, doogdoog

Aloha, You should use a blade that has at least three teeth contacting the work and 14 teeth seems too little for what you are cutting and I would use something like 24. Mahalo, doogdoog

Aloha, I am thinking about mixing some helium with argon and have some questions about the fittings, etc. I am thinking about using a Western brand Y adapter with 2 valves and maybe check valves. I want to connect argon and helium thru the Y adapter and come out as one going to the tig...

Aloha, Kroil is one of the best so I would make a dam around the stud using clay or putty and fill it with some Kroil and let it sit for a day. Heat the flange and try to turn the stud and if it doesn't come out, fill with Kroil and let stand for a couple of hours and repeat procedure...
